13. Make sure your links page is linked and visible from your homepage.

14. If your site is child friendly and not add link partners who offer services or products that are not child friendly.

15. Be aware of free-for-all link programs and link farms. These sites are mainly independent of anything else left and end with the collection and sharing of your e-mail, creating a large amount of spam in your inbox.

I agree, though i prefer one way link back for my personal blog all the way and I do have a few link exchange links but only a few in number. I dont believe that reciprocals are 100 % bad.
